Subversive Optimism is a collaborative effort from three friends who also happen to be veterans of various media — print, digital, broadcast and films. We’re hoping to be both smart and fun and to encourage participation from readers. We’ll probably write a lot about the climate crisis and the country’s deteriorating political culture, along with music, sports, movies and the occasional pandemic.
